Peri, a Germany-based global leader in construction technology, anticipates notable growth in Russia’s construction sector, with increased activity in both housing and industrial projects. Total construction value across Russian regions reached 7.87 trillion rubles in the first seven months of 2024, marking a 3.3% increase from the same period last year. This outlook was shared by Maria Mironicheva, Head of Marketing at Peri’s subsidiary in Russia, on Peri’s official Telegram channel.
Housing construction rose by 8.2% from September 2023 to September 2024, with the number of developers increasing to nearly 2,900, up by 250. Growth is particularly evident in regions offering mortgage incentives, such as the Arctic and Far East, where new projects are replacing aging housing stock. Peri sees developers shifting focus beyond Moscow and St. Petersburg, driven by opportunities tied to government mortgage support programs.
On the industrial front, Peri forecasts accelerated demand in 2025, fueled by efforts to reduce import dependency and boost domestic production. This trend is expected to drive related infrastructure developments, including seaports, the Northern Sea Route, and the North-South transport corridor, key to supporting new industrial capacities. According to the company's Telegram channel (@perirussia), Peri has actively adapted its offerings to Russia’s evolving construction needs. In Sochi, Peri's systems, such as ACS and RCS climbing systems and TRIO wall formwork, are central to a major hotel reconstruction project. In the Moscow region, Peri’s diverse equipment supports administrative and warehouse projects, utilizing solutions like PERI UP Flex shoring for high structures and SOLO panels for lightweight concrete casting.
In Vladimir, Peri’s TRIO ST formwork is key to ensuring high-quality concrete finishes for a new residential project. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to achieving precise construction results, even for first-time residential developers familiar with Peri’s industrial solutions.
