Gould, Jr., chairman and president of Gould Paper Corporation, New York City, announced the appointment of Peter Tilearcio as president of Gould Office Papers. In this capacity, Peter will be responsible for all sales and operations related to Gould Office Papers. Peter will be reporting directly to Harry Gould. Mr. Gould stated, “Peter has been with us for two years and has demonstrated his ability to lead the organization and to operate effectively in the ever-changing paper industry environment.” Peter is a 19-year veteran of the paper industry. Prior to joining Gould in 2005, Peter was with Domtar Inc., for 11 years. While at Domtar, Peter held various senior positions in sales and market development. Peter, his wife Christine, and their two children reside in Bergen County, New Jersey. Mr. Gould further stated, “In his capacity as President of Gould Office Papers, Peter will also be responsible for new programs, product sourcing from both domestic and foreign mills, and pricing. Gould Office Papers will be headquartered at our corporate offices in New York City.” Founded in 1924 and headquartered in New York City, Gould Paper Corporation has revenues in excess of $1 billion and is a member of the “quartet” that comprises North America’s largest distributors of printing and business papers.
