Greif is implementing price increases across its uncoated recycled paperboard and tube and core product lines, citing rising labor, utility and transportation costs. The company will raise prices for all grades of uncoated recycled paperboard by $60 to $70 per short ton, effective for new orders and shipments beginning 6 April 2026.
Tube and core and protective packaging products will see a minimum 7.5% price increase, effective with shipments on and after 13 April 2026. The company attributes the tube and core increase to the rising cost of its primary raw material – uncoated recycled paperboard – combined with higher converting and transportation expenses.
