Karolina Svensson will succeed Johan Padel as Head of the Wood Products business area at Holmen, effective 1 June. Svensson, currently Head of Business Development for Wood Products, brings experience from previous roles including Marketing Director for the Paper business area and Head of Group-level Strategy.
Johan Padel, who has led the business area for over 12 years, will step back from the role during the course of the year. He will assume the position of Chair of Martinsons Byggsystem, a subsidiary within the Holmen Group. Padel will remain available to support the transition before his departure.
Holmen is one of Sweden's largest forest owners.
