AltaiLes decided to invest in a state-of-the-art MDF production line in Pavlovsk, Russia. Holtec will supply the complete frontend including chip handling up to the silos for the new mill. The start-up is scheduled for summer 2018, the civil works at site have already started, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The core machines will be a HOLTEC Vario-Barker with 2 sections as well as a HOLTEC-NYBLAD disc chipper with a disc diameter of 2,800 mm and 800 kW drive capacity. Siempelkamp will supply the presses.
For Holtec it is already the third big order from AltaiLes. During the last years two sawmills had been equipped with log yard systems from Holtec.
