Homag is investing a further Euro 15 million in a new plant in Poland.

Ralf W. Dieter, CEO of Homag Group AG, says: “The Polish market has been growing for years, and in the meantime, we have reached the limits of capacity at our present location. In addition, the Polish plant plays an important role in our global production network. That is why we are building a new plant in Środa starting in the 2Q 2021.”

Homag already employs 700 people in Poland. This makes the country Homag's third-largest location after Germany and China - in terms of workforce size. By this investment, the capacities in Środa will be modernized and increased. This will make the plant, from which Homag exports worldwide, even more efficient. At the same time, Homag will be able to serve the traditionally strong furniture industry in Poland even more effectively with machines and services.

The Homag Group is the world's leading provider of integrated solutions for production in the woodworking industry and woodworking shops.
