I4F files major infringement lawsuit in the United States against Mohawk

I4F has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Mohawk for the manufacturing, using, importing, selling and/or offering for sale of Mohawk Molveno and Prizefighter vinyl plank flooring using Unilin’s Unipush locking system in the United States. I4F filed the case before the US District Court for the District of Delaware, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

I4F’s alleges that the Mohawk products, using the Unipush locking system, infringe one of its patents in the United States, US Patent No. 10,053,868.

I4F said, “Over the years, Mohawk has filed several infringement actions against other flooring manufacturers, so Mohawk already knows that it must have a valid license agreement in place before using the intellectual property of others on its products.”

I4F provides licensees with IP expertise, meaningful patents and cutting-edge technologies as well as access to some of the global flooring industry’s best innovations, including 3L TripleLock and Click4U.
The company said it would continue to undertake the appropriate legal action against all infringements and do everything in its power to safeguard its patents, technologies and licensees around the world.

I4F is a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry.
