IKEA is raising prices on U.S. furniture after years of cuts, ending its low-price strategy as new tariffs drive up import costs.

The Uppland sofa rose to $899 from $849 since August, and a three-piece oak bedroom set jumped to $1,049 from $959. IKEA told WSJ the increases are due to U.S. tariffs on imported goods.

Only 15% of IKEA products sold in the U.S. are sourced regionally. The company is expanding efforts to find more local suppliers, adding to existing U.S. sourcing of items like kitchen cabinets.
