The International Woodworking Fair will introduce a new trade show, IWF West, in San Antonio from August 25 to 27, 2027. The event will serve as a mid-cycle addition to the biennial IWF Atlanta series, targeting both southwestern U.S. markets and IWF’s national customer base, according to the International Woodworking Fair.
IWF West will take place at the Henry B. González Convention Center. It will run for three days and feature a mix of manufacturers from IWF Atlanta alongside first-time exhibitors. The program will also include educational and networking events, with a focus on wood products technology and design.
According to IWF, survey data from current IWF Atlanta exhibitors shows that 56% support the IWF West concept, and 64% favor its key elements, including the San Antonio location, accessibility, and show duration. In related attendee research, 63% of buyers at IWF 2024 expressed strong interest in the new event.
