In September 2009, Arkhangelsk pulp and paper mill (Novodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region, Russia) increased pulp cooking by 9% compared to the similar period of the previous year up to 72,100 tons, as the company informed Lesprom Network. Market pulp production grew by 20% to 19,400 tons. Paper production increased by 36.1% to 7,100 tons, paperboard manufacturing – by 36% to 56,500 tons. However, transportation containerboard production decreased by 11.4% down to 9,9700 square meters, wood fiberboard manufacturing – by 2.7% down to 700,000 square meters, copybooks production – by 6.7% down to 9.6 million items.
