Innofreight, the Austrian logistics company, started a new project – transport of wood chips from Belarus to Romania, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

This project is running completely on wide gauge with 3 train sets including 372 XXL containers. Each train transports 900 t atro wood chips. Thanks to the close cooperation between the railways, a train traveling from the Belarusian loading station to the Romanian border takes only 39 hours (900 km).

Together with its partner Rail Cargo Logistics Slovenia and their partners from Belarus, Ukraine and Hungary this project has been realised.
