Jun 12, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. DS Smith has selected Innventia as a partner in research and development. The cooperation is part of DS Smith’s continuing programme to improve their products and services in the packaging arena for the benefit of customers worldwide. The agreement gives DS Smith access to Innventia experts in research and development projects as well as pilot trials, analysis and testing services, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. 

To meet the need for additional scientific expertise, the company has signed a cooperation agreement with the Swedish research institute Innventia. Today’s ground-breaking innovations from Innventia range from processes for nanocellulose to new sustainable packaging solutions.

With this cooperation agreement in place between the two partners DS Smith will get access to these services as well as expert advice and support for R&D projects.
