Inwido has expanded into southeastern Europe with the acquisition of Slovenian window and door manufacturer AJM Group. The family-owned company generates annual sales of approximately Euro 30 million and employs 200 people at its facility near Maribor. Inwido acquires 70% of the shares in AJM Group from the founder, Marija Ajlec, with a call/put option for the remaining 30%, held by management, in early 2028, according to Inwido.

AJM Group, established in 1990, operates six showrooms in Slovenia and exports about 20 percent of its sales to Austria and Switzerland. The company serves the mid-to-high-end segments with a product range in PVC, aluminum, and wood, with the majority of sales including installation services.

Inwido CEO Fredrik Meuller stated the acquisition provides a platform for further organic and acquired growth in the region.
