James Donaldson Timber has secured a lease on a new 110,000 ft2 manufacturing facility in Chorley, a move that will more than double its production capacity. The purpose-built site at Botany Bay Business Park is designed to integrate continuous manufacturing lines and allows for potential 24-hour operations to meet growing market demand. The relocation was announced by the company's management.

The increased scale is expected to reduce lead times and improve stock availability for customers. The facility will also dedicate 10,000 ft2 to the storage and distribution needs of Perform Panel, a division of Donaldson Group subsidiary Nu-Style Products. The new site is scheduled to be fully operational by autumn 2025, according to James Donaldson Timber.
