Jock McKenzie joins Sappi Limited board

Aug 29, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Sappi Limited, the global pulp and paper group, announced on August 28, 2007 that Mr. John (Jock) D. McKenzie will join the Sappi Limited board with effect from September 1, 2007 as a non- executive director.
Mr. McKenzie (60) joins the Sappi board after having held senior executive positions globally and in South Africa. He is a former president for Asia, Middle East and Africa of the Chevron Texaco Corporation and also served as the chairman and chief executive officer of the Caltex Corporation. He holds a BSc-Chemical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town and an MA from the University of Lancaster, amongst others.
