Kadant Black Clawson to provide chemical recovery equipment to Stora Enso

Apr 11, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., received an order from Stora Enso North America, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, for chemical recovery equipment to be installed in the mill’s pulping operation. The equipment is being supplied by Kadant Black Clawson’s Goslin™ division. The order includes a liquor concentrator, a surface condenser and associated tanks, which will replace existing equipment in the mill. The new equipment is expected to increase liquor solids and improve evaporator capacity as part of the mill’s pulping process to produce Kraft pulp. Installation and start-up of the equipment is scheduled for the fall of 2005.
