The packaging company Kartonpack has acquired a 51.81pc stake in the printing and publishing company Novoprint, Kartonpack announced on the BSE website on Friday. Kartonpack bought a 28.2pc stake in Novoprint from Britton Interinvest Ltd and 22.98pc from Globe International Investment Ltd, paying close to book value in both cases.

The packaging company Kartonpack has acquired a 51.81pc stake in the printing and publishing company Novoprint, Kartonpack announced on the BSE website on Friday.
Kartonpack bought a 28.2pc stake in Novoprint from Britton Interinvest Ltd and 22.98pc from Globe International Investment Ltd, paying close to book value in both cases.
Kartonpack's H1 net profits fell 19pc to HUF 45m last year on unchanged revenue of HUF 519m, the latest available figures show. H1 exports grew 5pc to HUF 16m last year.
Kartonpack had registered capital of HUF 101m and net assets of HUF 695m as of June 30 last year. At that time, Britton Capital and Consulting Kft held 61.77pc, Britton Interinvest Ltd had 29.58pc and a private investor, Steven R. Kopits, held 8.31pc.
Novoprint is a private company based in Dorog (N Hungary). A non-profit organisation run by the Hungarian Arts Foundation holds 41pc of Novoprint shares.
