Kemira appoints Tuomas Mäkipeska as new CFO

Tuomas Mäkipeska will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at Kemira Oyj on 1 April 2026, following his appointment to the Group Leadership Team. He will begin the handover process on 1 March 2026, working alongside the outgoing CFO, Petri Castrén, who will leave the company by the end of the first quarter. The leadership transition was confirmed by Kemira.

The company is also managing a separate executive change as Eeva Salonen, Executive Vice President of People & Culture, will retire on 30 November 2025. Her appointed successor, Ulrika Dunker, will assume the role on 1 January 2026. Until then, Kemira's President and CEO Antti Salminen will serve as the interim head of the function.
