Koles inaugurates its new wood processing unit in Kočevje, Slovenia. The new unit by Koles once fully operational will create more than 25 jobs in the region, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The launch of the new production facility comes 8 months after the government of Slovenia signed a contract on Euro 650,000 grant for an investment with the Koles directors. The grant for Koles comes from regional development funds to help the area cope with a rather high unemployment rate.

The second stage of the operations would be to involve a CNC machine to manufacture a product batches intended entirely for export to other parts of Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America.

Koles is a fully funded establishment that produces all the varieties of glued laminated wood.
