Koskisen stops its operations in Russia

Koskisen has decided to discontinue its operations in Russia. The company will run down its Russian’s sawing operations and stop importing sawn goods and logs from Russia.

The discontinuation of operations will be carried out with personnel and local regulations in mind, and a more detailed schedule will be announced as the process moves forward. The share of the Russian business in the company’s net sales is minor and the financial impact of the decision has been estimated insignificant.

Established in Finland in 1909, Koskisen is a forerunner in the sawn timber and panel industry.
