Kronospan buys SFC Entegre Orman Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.

Kronospan has completed an investment into SFC Entegre Orman Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. based in Kastamonu, Turkey, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. SFC is a producer of medium/high density fibreboard, particle board and melamine faced board for the Turkish market, with exports to the Middle East. SFC also produces resin and formaldehyde for its own board production via its wholly owned subsidiary Baks Bati Kimya AS, which is included in this transaction. This investment does not include Dortek, a producer of doors in Turkey, which was previously partly owned by SFC. The existing management of SFC led by Kerem Hasan Ceritoglu will continue to manage SFC. The management is working with Kronospan on opportunities to further develop the business. The representative office of Kronospan in Istanbul will be transferred in to a new Turkish Company to further strengthen Kronospan’s interests in this region.
