LOTS Group announces the start of a new partnership with Mosaic Forest Management on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. LOTS, through its partner Munden Ventures, will transport roundwood from loading sites in the forest to facilities in the Port Alberni area, Canada. The new partnership has solid foundations based on a shared view on the importance of sustainability, safety, and efficiency improvements in the transport industry.
Transport operations are already underway, having started in December 2021.
Mosaic Forest Management is the timberlands manager for TimberWest and Island Timberlands – two affiliated companies that have operated on Vancouver Island for over a century, delivering sustainable forest management within their private forest lands and Crown tenure areas.
