Oct 19, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. The largest Lithuanian fiberboard and toilet paper producer Grigiskes opened a representative office in Latvia where it sales make up 5.5% of its total turnover. The representative office in Riga was opened in September, the company reported. The COE of Grigiskes Gintautas Pangonis hopes that the direct cooperation with partners will strengthen company's position on the Latvian market. In the last year, the company sold on the Latvian market products to the amount of LTL5.295 million. It is by 55.9% more than in 2003 (LTL3.401 million). In the first 9 months 2005, Grigiskes gained a profit to the amount of LTL6.21 million (before taxation). It is by 0.84% more than in the same period of the last year. The sales made up in that period LTL75.828 million. It is by 5.2% more than in January-September 2004.
