The Madison's Lumber Prices Index registered US$496 mfbm for the week ending February 20, 2026, a decline of US$1 from the previous week's reading of US$497. The index remained unchanged from its level one month ago.
The index incorporates the same species used in futures markets, including Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir and Hem-Fir. These species are weighted according to their production volume ratios in North America over recent years to construct the benchmark.
