The Madison's Lumber Prices Index reached $497 mfbm for the week ending 13 February 2026, a $1 increase from the previous week's reading of $496 mfbm. The index, which tracks key North American softwood species, has risen $9 from its level one month ago. The data was released by the index providers.
The index incorporates the same species used in futures markets, including Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir and Hem-Fir. Its weighted averages reflect production volume ratios across North America from recent years.
