The Madison's Lumber Prices Index increased 2% to US$501 mfbm for the week ending 13 March 2026. The benchmark rose US$10 from the previous week's reading of US$491 and gained 1%, or US$4, from one month ago when it stood at US$497.

The index is constructed using the same species as Futures – Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir and Hem-Fir – with weighted averages based on North American production volume ratios from recent years.
