Sarawak, Malaysia , exported 1.3 million m3 logs in 2019. By comparison, the total volume of logs exported in 2018 was 1.4 million m3. The species which contributed the most value was meranti at 402,971 m3, as ITTO reported.
In 2019 the second most valuable timber was acacia mangium at 558,504 m3 and the third was kapur at 79,129 m3. Other export species were selangan batu 56,740 m3, MLH (Mixed Light Hardwoods) 96,140 m3 followed by keruing 47,592 m3.
