Markus Rauramo named Stora Enso CFO
Sep 01, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Markus Rauramo will become the chief financial officer of Stora Enso on October 1 and the current CFO Hannu Ryopponen will retire in spring 2009, the company said.
Sep 01, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Paper giant Stora Enso has made senior management changes to its group executive team (GET), following a year of restructuring, Preentweek.com reported.
Hannu Ryöppönen, currently deputy CEO and CFO, will hand over his chief financial responsibilities to Markus Rauramo – senior vice president and group treasurer. Ryöppönen will remain a GET member with his responsibility for group strategy until he retires in spring 2009 at his own request in line with his long-term personal plans. Rauramo has been group treasurer for Stora Enso since 2004, and he will join the GET.
Christer Agren, currently responsible for human resources and IT, and country manager for Sweden, will leave the company. His responsibilities will be taken over by Elisabet Salander Björklund, in addition to her current responsibilities for wood supply, pulp supply and sustainability.
The changes will take effect on 1 October 2008.
