Martinsons appoints Joakim Gustafsson as new CEO

Joakim Gustafsson, former head of tenders and business analysis at Martinsons Byggsystem, will be the new CEO of Martinsons. He will take over from Lars Atterfors, who has been acting CEO since September 2021.

“Our assessment is that Joakim has very good conditions to lead Martinsons in the future. He has extensive knowledge in all the areas in which the company operates and he has the right personality to lead the company,” says Johan Padel, Chairman of the Board of Martinsons Byggsystem and also business area manager for Holmen Trävaror, which Martinsons has been part of since October 2020.

Joakim Gustafsson has worked for Martinsons since 2012. Prior to that, he was both owner and CEO of other companies.

Martinsons delivers building systems in glulam and KL wood for everything from sports halls, stands and agricultural halls to tall apartment buildings, office buildings and business premises. The business includes development and construction, such as sales, project management and assembly. Martinsons is part of Holmen and the offices are located in Umeå, Bygdsiljum and Skellefteå.
