Martinsons now delivers and assembles the KL wooden frame for the apartment building Träkronan where FO Peterson has the turnkey contract.

“A really good project for us where we have been involved at an early stage and been able to influence both design and assembly,” says Martinson's assembly manager Pelle Olsson.

Brf Träkronan consists of three stairwells that sit together with an offset, which gives a feeling of three different houses. The building is seven and eight storeys high and contains a total of 59 apartments as well as an overnight apartment and a common room. The apartments are divided into two to four rooms and are between 55 and 96 square meters in size.

Shortly after the turn of the year, the installation of the first staircase of three began and in mid-March, the roof was laid on the first stage.
“The division means that the house quickly becomes dense and a big benefit of using wood is that it dries very quickly. We installed the roof on a Thursday and the following Monday they started plastering,” says Pelle Olsson.

The entire building is expected to be completed by the summer. Martinsons delivers 2,100 m3 of KL wood and 150 m3 of glulam to Träkronan.
