Metsä Group plans to integrate maintenance operations of its plywood and Kerto LVL mills as part of its own organisation. At present, the maintenance of the company’s plywood and Kerto LVL mills has been outsourced to the industrial maintenance company Quant.
If the plan is realised, the maintenance operations would be integrated as part of Metsä Group’s wood products industry organisation Metsä Wood.
Metsä Group focuses on the growth sectors of the forest industry: wood supply and forest services, wood products, pulp, fresh fibre paperboards, as well as tissue and greaseproof papers. Metsä Group’s r parent company is Metsäliitto Cooperative which is owned by more than 90,000 forest owners.
