Tomi Salo has been appointed Metsä Group's SVP, Corporate Affairs as of November 1, 2021. He has worked at Metsä Forest since 2019. He will move to his new role from the position of SVP, International Wood Sourcing.
He reports to Ilkka Hämälä, Metsä Group’s President and CEO.
Metsä Group produces renewable products from northern forests that replace the use of fossil raw materials. Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, is owned by approximately 100,000 Finnish forest owners.
