Jaakko Anttila has been appointed EVP, Metsä Wood as of January 1, 2022. Metsä Wood is responsible for Metsä Group's wood products business.
Anttila has worked in Metsä Group's pulp and sawn timber business, Metsä Fibre, in various management positions since 2011. He will move to his new role from the position of Metsä Fibre's SVP, Pulp Production.
In his new position Anttila will report to Metsäliitto Cooperative's COO Juha Mäntylä.
Metsä Group produces renewable products from northern forests that replace the use of fossil raw materials. Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, is owned by approximately 100,000 Finnish forest owners.
