Moelven plans to close Moelven Eidsvold Værk AS operations in Norway. This will take place in the 1Q 2020, and affects 60 employees, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The reason for the closure is high operating costs and an excessive need for investments in order to make the company competitive in the longer term.
As a wood products company, Moelven delivers sawn goods, planed construction material and interior products, glulam, modular buildings and building solutions.
