Aug 10, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Mondi has signed an agreement with POLIFILM Extrusion GmbH, to sell Mondi’s film manufacturing site in Osterburken, Germany; subject to competition clearance, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The sale will enable Mondi to refine its product portfolio and move away from supplying films to competitors of its Consumer Packaging business. POLIFILM offers a complementary product portfolio to Mondi Osterburken GmbH, which mainly produces polyethylene laminating films and household cling films.

Mondi’s consumer packaging business offers quality consumer packaging, hygiene components and release liner.
