Jul 26, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. The board used in packaging the 500-gram size laundry detergent is produced from a mix of short (eucalyptus) and long (pine) fibers, lending the packaging high mechanical resistance. That means greater rigidity and resistance to tearing and compression, making it ideal for packaging the product, in addition to affording excellent printing quality. Klabin paperboard also makes it possible to construct attractive packaging having strong sales appeal by using graphic resources such as embossing and UV varnishes, which give the product more visibility at the point of sale. The visual design of the new packaging was developed by Rex Design and printing was done by Dixie Toga. Klabin is the largest paper manufacturer and paper exporter in Brazil. It is Brazili's leader producer of paper and folding boxboard for packaging, corrugated cardboard and industrial paper bags. The company was established in 1899 and, currently, it owns 17 mills in Brazil - spread in eight different states - and one mill in Argentina. Its line of products comprises paper, folding boxboard for packaging, corrugated cardboard boxes and industrial bags in addition to logs.
