PF Olsen acquires Rotorua Forest Nursery in New Zealand. The nursery produces approximately 15 million bareroot Pinus radiata seedlings per annum from three separate leased land blocks from local iwi in close proximity.

This acquisition complements PF Olsen's containerized seedling business at Waiuku (that produces 6 million seedlings per annum).

Rotorua Forest Nursery will continue to serve its existing clients, including PF Olsen Limited. The previous owner operators Peter and Jenny Harington will continue to provide technical and operational support to the nursery for the next two years.

The new nursery manager, Matt Jackman, is an accomplished nurseryman with significant knowledge in horticulture. Matt is supported by two other experienced nursery managers, Mandy Spence (Operations Manager) and Ana Saine (Assistant Nursery Manager).

PF Olsen is a market leader in the forestry sector across both Australia and New Zealand. PF Olsen plants 40% of all new forestry in NZ, manages over 160,000 ha in NZ as well as over 212,000 ha in Australia.
