Feb 06, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. PaperWorks Industries, Inc. mills in Philadelphia, PA and Wabash, IN have achieved certification under the Recycled Paperboard Alliance’s (RPA-100%) newly launched certification program focused on substantiating the recycled fiber claim associated with the manufacture of 100% recycled paperboard, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The 100% Recycled Paperboard Alliance (RPA-100%) is a non-profit, independent trade group representing the leading manufacturers in the recycled paperboard industry. Jerry Tassone, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at PaperWorks’ said, “We are proud of this achievement. By using the RPA-100%’s trademark logo, we will be able to visibly communicate to consumers the 100% recycled content of our packaging, which is key seeing that a packaging’s recycled content and recyclability are fundamental environmental considerations for today’s consumer.”
