Employees and customers affected by the closing have been notified as the company begins the process of transferring them to other folding carton plants in the US and Canada. This closure will affect 91 employees, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

“In order to better serve our customers,” PaperWorks Packaging Group EVP Joe Moynihan said, “we are announcing our intention to consolidate our manufacturing operations in North America. The manufacturing assets will be moved out of Phoenix and repositioned among our other seven plants. Working with our customers on the transition, we will enable them to receive the same quality products and services from one or more of our other plants.”
