Pfleiderer appointed Hans-Joachim Ziems as a new member of Executive Board

The Supervisory Board of Pfleiderer AG has decided to appoint Hans-Joachim Ziems as a new member of the company’s Executive Board with responsibility for restructuring with immediate effect. In this position, Mr. Ziems is the successor to Ernst Pelzer, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. “With Mr. Ziems, we have gained an experienced specialist in the field of restructuring. He will benefit in his new position from decades of experience in industry and business consulting,” stated Hanno C. Fiedler, Chairman of Pfleiderer’s Supervisory Board. “We are convinced that he will make a major contribution to the continuation of Pfleiderer’s restructuring and will help to bring it to a successful conclusion.” Hans-Joachim Ziems is a managing partner of Ziems & Partner Business Consultants in Cologne. The firm specializes in restructuring and was in charge for example of the self-administration of the Kirch Media Group in Munich and of the restructuring of the Merckle Ratiopharm Group in Ulm. Pfleiderer AG has also announced the appointment of Alfred Hagebusch as a new member of the Supervisory Board. He has been appointed by the Nuremberg District Court with immediate effect. Mr. Hagebusch is the successor to Dr. Helmut Burmester, who stepped down from his position as of February 17, 2011. Mr. Alfred Hagebusch is a partner of the Wellensiek firm of lawyers, which is specialized in the resolution of companies’ crisis-related issues. Mr. Hagebusch’s main areas of activity include corporate law, crisis and turnaround consulting, restructuring concepts, M&A in the crisis, and above all, advising management and shareholders on the execution of restructuring.
