Ponsse is overhauling its service network in Finland, and the Hyvinkää Service Centre is moving to new premises in Loppi, about 20 kilometres from the current premises. The desire to serve customers even better is the motivation for the construction of the service centre, which will be completed in February 2026.
Ultimately, Ponsse’s services consist of a diverse range of spare parts and forestry equipment, machine sales, extensive field maintenance, and the Ponsse Shop, which offers high-quality work and leisure clothing. The new premises has two machine locations for maintenance and a machine wash area. The total floor area is 950 square metres.
The opening of the new space and a market day will be held in February 2026.
“Operations started in the current Hyvinkää premises in 2008. Currently, five experienced forest machine service and sales professionals work there on a regular basis. The same experts will also serve customers at Loppi’s new property, and the number of employees will probably increase by one more professional in the future,” Liukkonen adds.
The determined development of Finland’s largest service network is part of Ponsse’s customer-oriented operations. The Finnish service network currently has 26 locations, employing around 200 forest machine professionals.
There are 15 service centres and 11 service or contract maintainers. There are 40 service trucks that serve our customers directly at the logging sites.
Ponsse is a company specialising in the sales, manufacture, servicing and technology of cut-to-length method forest machines.
