ProAmpac has signed a definitive agreement to acquire TC Transcontinental Packaging from TC Transcontinental for $1.51 billion. The target business generated approximately $1.2 billion in revenue over the last 12 months, according to the announcement from the global flexible packaging firm.
The transaction is expected to close in the Q1 2026, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. The acquisition will broaden ProAmpac’s capabilities in the dairy, meat, and medical packaging end markets and add manufacturing operations in North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. The combined company aims to accelerate development of next-generation sustainable packaging solutions.
