Rengo completed the acquisition of 60% of the shares in Toppan Containers Co., Ltd. At the same time, Toppan Containers’ trade name, head office location and its representative were changed, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
In future, Rengo will actively make capital investments in Rengo Toppan Containers’ three corrugated plants (Kawaguchi-shi in Saitama Prefecture, Sano-shi in Tochigi Prefecture and Ishinomaki-shi in Miyagi Prefecture) and will enhance the production capacity of corrugated packaging and further improve quality.
In this way, the Rengo Group will expand its supply capacity of corrugated packaging in the Kanto region where demand for corrugated packaging is growing significantly, and will organize systems to more fully satisfy customers’ future needs.
