Japanese packaging giant Rengo to increase prices on its containerboard, effective August 1, 2017, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Corrugated boards/boxes prices will be determined on an individual basis based on the actual rise in factors such as containerboard prices, fuel prices, and logistics costs. Rengo to increase prices on its corrugated boards/boxes prices, effective October 1, 2017.
Recently, the price of recovered paper, the main raw material, has surged significantly. At the same time, the prices of other raw materials, fuel, and chemicals, as well as logistics costs, are also rising. For these reasons, Rengo will be revising the prices of its containerboard and corrugated boards/boxes.
