RockTenn announces that its Specialty Paperboard Products mill in Chattanooga, TN, USA has achieved certification to Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) chain of custody (CoC) standards. “For decades, RockTenn’s Chattanooga Mill has been an environmentally responsible producer of paperboard made from 100% recovered fiber. The FSC certification assures our customers that the paperboard we supply meets stringent environmental standards. We will continue to produce recycled paperboard that satisfies our customers’ needs relating to both quality and the environment,” said Dick Steed, Executive Vice President, Specialty Paperboard Products. RockTenn’s Chattanooga mill produces recycled, uncoated specialty paperboard focusing on solid fiber partitions, tubes, cores, various chip grades and paperboard for furniture laminate used in the ready to assemble furniture industry.
