Apr 12, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Roelf Buist has been employed as new Terminal Manager at Interforest Terminal Rotterdam, after Bob de Lange who retires after 12 years on the position, as SCA Transforest said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
Roelf comes from the position as project manager within APM Terminals with responsibility for implementation of new port terminals in Asia and Africa, but has also served as Managing Director for APMT’s terminal Maasvlakte II. Roelf also has a previous background as General Manager Business Development within Hutchinsson Port Holdings and as Terminal Manager for ECT Home Terminal in Rotterdam.
The hand over process will start as from May 1st and Roelf will take over as Managing Director in the middle of June. Bob will formally retire as from August 1st, but will in practice work in the terminal to the end of June and then enjoy summer holidays during the last weeks of his employment.
SCA Transforest is part of SCA’s Forest Products business area, which produces publication papers for newspapers, magazines and catalogues, as well as pulp, solid-wood products and renewable energy. SCA Forest Products also manages SCA's extensive forest holding and supplies SCA's Swedish industries with wood raw materials.
