Jun 04, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Roger Loney joined Port Townsend Paper Corp. as general manager and vice president of operations at the Port Townsend mill in Washington. Roger Loney takes the place of Bruce McComas, who was fired by the company after working for 24 years with the company.
Loney, 52, has 27 years experience in mill management and believes his experiences in Maine, Nova Scotia, Tennessee and Georgia will help him see Jefferson County's largest private employer through what management believes is a transitional period.
Loney recently headed a paper mill in Georgia, Bowater Inc., that produced newsprint. Loney said three years was the time frame he expected for changes to be made in the mill's production line as well.
