Roseburg Forest Products announced that Eric Ford has been elected vice-chair of its Board of Directors. Ford, who has served on the board since 2011, is the son of company owner Allyn Ford and a member of the third generation of family leadership.
Ford is the owner of Western Lumber Company, an international wholesale lumber firm based in Medford, Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and continues to support the college in various capacities.
In addition to his role with Roseburg, Ford serves on the company’s Family Advisory Board and has previously served on the state board for Special Olympics Oregon.
Founded in 1936, Roseburg Forest Products is a privately held company and one of North America’s leading producers of medium density fiberboard (MDF), plywood, lumber, exterior trim, and engineered wood products including I-joists, LVL, and rim board.
