Rottne Industri AB has announced that it will be making necessary workforce adjustments due to the impact of global economic uncertainty on its order intake. The decreased demand, and the 2024 sales forecast have prompted the company to reduce its staffing levels.

The reduction in workforce will affect 24 employees. Immediate negotiations will commence with the relevant labor unions to ensure a fair and collaborative process.

Throughout 2022 and the first half of 2023, Rottne Industri achieved significant growth and set delivery records, with an impressive annual sale of 200 machines. Niklas Lefévre, Sales and Marketing Manager at Rottne Industri, commented: “Our company´s major markets, including the Nordic region and North America, continue to exhibit strength. It is primarily in certain European markets where we have observed a decline in demand.”

Rottne Industri AB is one of the leading manufacturers of modern forest machines. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 750 million and has about 250 employees at facilities in Rottne, Lenhovda and Stensele.
