RusForest improved EBITDA to$9.7 million in 2016

For the full-year 2016, RusForest’s revenue ($28 million) increased by 28% compared with 2015. 2016 sales volumes of sawnwood from Magistralny increased by 5% compared with 2015, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Sawnwood revenue per cubic meter for Magistralny, as the average revenue generated across all types of contracts and sales terms per cubic meter, increased by 2% in 2016, compared with 2015.

Gross profit from continuing operations for full-year 2016 amounted to $13.9 million, representing a 49% gross profit margin, compared with $10.3 million and gross profit margin of 47% in 2015.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) improved substantially year on year, with EBITDA of $9.7 million in 2016, representing an EBITDA margin of 35%, compared with EBITDA of $4.6 million for full year 2015 and EBITDA margin of 21% in 2015.

For the full year 2016, the company generated a net profit of $4.2 million, compared with a profit of $3.2 million in 2015.
